Job Description

Job Overview Join our Environmental Services team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. In this role, you'll play an important part in infection prevention by ensuring patient rooms, common areas, and workspaces are properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and deep cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, lodging rooms, and common spaces Clean, disinfect, and sanitize surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas to meet health and safety standards Dispose of trash, recyclables, and biohazard materials properly Maintain and restock cleaning supplies, equipment, and hygiene products as needed Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces, including ensuring cleanliness before and after events Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks Maintain an organized and sanitary work environment, including storage areas for supplies and equipment
Qualifications:
Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial, or environmental services preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety protocols accurately Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required Good communication and teamwork skills Requirements Background check Drug screen Required immunization records/vaccinations
