A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Full and Part-time permanent custodial positions available. This would be considered a 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm) position. Responsible for all cleaning and janitorial duties, including light maintenance in a public school setting.
Pay Range:
View the applicable collective bargaining agreement for hourly pay rates, and related employment terms.
Custodians/Food Services Contract Qualifications:
Maine Department of Education CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) Graduation from an accredited high school, vocational school or equivalent Maine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC). A copy of your
CHRC MUST
