HSKP Linen Porter (FT) Req #2046 Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, 100 Grand Traverse Village Blvd, Acme, Michigan, United States of America Apply Share Job Description Posted Monday, August 24, 2026 at 12:00 AM SUMMARY This position is responsible for supplying all condo areas with the required linen on a daily basis. Also responsible for picking up all dirty linen and for inventory all linen rooms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver linen to all condo linen rooms. To pick up all soiled linen from each complex. To make sure linen van is kept neat and clean at all times. Report any problems with the linen van to the housekeeping office. Go to Fleet maintenance and fill the gas tank and check oil as needed. Alert the Housekeeping office if there is a problem with picking up or delivering linen. Alert the Executive Housekeeper if you see an abuse of linen. Any and all other duties deemed necessary by your managers and supervisors. Must understand and abide by environmental practices of the resort. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Michigan driver's license and be insurable under the Resort's policy. Prefer some housekeeping experience.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Pleasant personality and guest oriented attitude a must. There will be frequent contact with guests and other employees Honesty is essential Must be well groomed according to Resort standards

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to be on feet for extended length of time Must be able to lift large bags of linen, sometimes exceeding 50 pounds

WORKING CONDITIONS

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Required to work outdoors in all types of weather. Native American Preference will apply.
