Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across our facilities. As a key member of our custodial team, you will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals, and uphold safety standards to keep our spaces pristine and well-maintained. Your proactive approach will contribute to the overall efficiency and professionalism of our operations. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment. Handle and store chemical agents safely following chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination. Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and replenishing supplies in restrooms and kitchens. Operate various cleaning tools including mops, and other custodial equipment to ensure optimal cleanliness. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly. Qualifications Ability to handle chemical agents safely following established safety protocols. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including long periods of standing or walking. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards. Prior experience in facilities maintenance or Porter roles is advantageous but not necessary.
