Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Job Overview Wild Roots Cleaning Co. is a locally owned small business, specializing in short-term rental (think AirBNB) properties. Our company is responsible for turnover cleaning, linen service, and restocking at more than 30 properties in the Battle Creek and surrounding areas. We also regularly offer deep cleaning services for residentials (move in/outs), rentals, and sometimes even commercial spaces. We are looking for two or three new team members to help us with our ever-growing list of properties. Because we are working in the rental space, these positions will be part-time to start, with shifts occurring most often on weekends, specifically Sundays. Our days start around 10 am (when most guests check out) and end around 4 pm (when most new guests are starting to check in). When deep clean projects are added to the schedule, these are simply an opportunity for our team members to work a few extra hours and put a little extra money in their pockets, if they would like to. Our ideal candidate would be reliable, detail-oriented, and have a knack for immaculate cleaning practices. Short-term rental properties should look entirely brand new between every guest so this is much more than a quick "wipe down". This work is labor intensive; candidates should expect to lift, push, pull, move, etc. We expect work to be done thoroughly and in a timely manner. Initially, you will learn with our team, but as you advance and show us your ability, we may send you off to clean occasionally on your own, which in turn makes you more money. Opportunities for advancement are available as the company grows. This is a contractual 1099 position - you are responsible for keeping track of your own taxes. Interested candidates should have reliable transportation as well, as travel is obviously involved.
