Acceptable reading and writing skills. Must be able to pass physical for normal lifting. General Summary Responsible to clean, sweep and mop any area of the building and grounds as required. Clean washrooms, machines, cafeteria and equipment. Principles Duties and Responsibilities Vacuum and empty trash in front office(s). Day Shift Mop kitchen and both bathrooms in front office area. Day Shift Empty all trash containers in the plant and outside trash containers. All Shifts Run floor sweeper and floor scrubber in plant. All Shifts Pick-up trash on the plant grounds and in the parking lot. All Shifts Compact Cardboard and Plastic Film when necessary. All Shifts Ensure environmental control of discarded items. All Shifts Stock all Paper Towel and Toilet Paper Dispensers. All Shifts Clean all shop floor restrooms. All shifts Clean out cigarette discard containers. All Shifts Wipe down doorknobs, staircase rails and sink handles. All Shifts Starting pay $15.00/Hr. Excellent benefits after 90 calendar days! Working Conditions Industrial plant setting. Continuous exposure to noise. Safety protection required. Must wear safety shoes, ear protection and safety glasses. Overtime required.
