Janitor Job SummaryThe janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the aluminum extrusion facility. This position performs daily housekeeping, supports facility upkeep, assists with minor maintenance tasks, and helps ensure compliance with plant safety and cleanliness standards.

ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain offices, break rooms, restrooms, and common areasCollect and dispose of scrap, trash, and recyclable materialsSweep, dust, mop, and operate floor cleaning equipment as neededClean support areas, packing areas, and shipping areas to maintain housekeeping standardsMaintain janitorial supplies and cleaning equipmentIdentify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and housekeeping issuesFollow all company safety policies and PPE requirementsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience preferredAbility to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace cleanlinessAbility to work independently and prioritize daily tasksPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and lift throughout the shift.

Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Work EnvironmentManufacturing plant environment with exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment.

Use of PPE in production settings required.

Occasional lifting, bending, repetitive motion, and extended standing/walking.

Off-shift, overtime, or weekend support may be required.
