Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors using various techniques such as floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to maintain a polished appearance. Handle cleaning tasks across different areas including carpets, tiles, and hard floors, utilizing appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals. Operate and maintain cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, polishers, carpet extractors, and floor scrubbers to ensure optimal performance. Safely handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals and agents, adhering strictly to safety protocols and environmental guidelines. Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of equipment or supplies while following proper ergonomic practices. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and other designated spaces with attention to detail. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleaning standards. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial setting with a strong understanding of environmental services. Knowledge of floor care techniques including scrubbing, buffing, waxing, carpet cleaning, and floor refinishing. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Experience handling chemical agents used in cleaning processes with an emphasis on safety procedures. Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
