Custodian Custodian | Detroit Monday - Friday | 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM Occasional weekends required

$15 We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Custodian to support cleaning operations at a large industrial and automotive manufacturing facility in Detroit near the I-94 industrial corridor. This position plays an important role in helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment within an active steel and automotive production setting. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working around industrial operations and manufacturing activity. Responsibilities Perform routine janitorial and custodial duties throughout industrial and production areas Clean restrooms, break areas, offices, locker rooms, and common spaces Remove trash and replace liners Sweep, mop, dust, and maintain facility floors and surfaces Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow safety procedures and proper cleaning practices Support overall facility cleanliness within an active manufacturing environment Requirements Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred Comfortable working in a heavy industrial and manufacturing environment Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic Ability to work independently and stay on task Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Steel toe or hardened toe safety shoes are required for this position - (employee must provide their own safety shoes) Availability to work occasional weekends as needed At Saber, we strive to create a workplace built on respect, support, and opportunity.
