Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are upheld. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall appearance and hygiene of our workspaces, creating a positive experience for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols and handling instructions Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, and other floor care equipment to maintain pristine flooring surfaces Conduct industrial cleaning tasks including heavy lifting of supplies and equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold facility standards Assist with custodial duties related to facilities maintenance such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and minor repairs Support special projects like residential painting or deep cleaning initiatives as needed Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred Familiarity with cleaning techniques involving chemical agents and proper handling procedures Experience operating floor buffers, scrubbers, or other floor care machinery is advantageous Knowledge of safety procedures related to manual handling and heavy lifting tasks Background in facilities maintenance or porter roles demonstrates versatility in maintaining work environments Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe practices Previous experience in industrial cleaning or residential painting is a plus but not mandatory Join our team as a Janitorial Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment.
