We're looking for experienced, dependable cleaning professionals who take pride in their work and have the potential to grow into leadership positions. Morey's House Cleaning Service LLC provides professional residential, vacation rental, commercial, and move-in/move-out cleaning services throughout Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana. We're expanding our team during our slower season to prepare for future growth.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This is a very part-time position initially, with potential for increased hours and eventual full-time employment. All employees begin as Cleaning Technicians, regardless of previous leadership experience. Advancement is earned through demonstrated skills, reliability, accountability, and consistent quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform detailed residential cleaning services. Complete vacation rental and Airbnb turnovers. Maintain commercial offices and properties. Perform move-in and move-out cleaning services. Follow company cleaning checklists and procedures. Maintain organized supplies, equipment, and cleaning caddies. Identify and correct cleaning deficiencies. Work independently and collaboratively. Maintain professional communication and exceptional quality standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Reliable transportation between client properties. Consistent and dependable availability. Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks, including stairs, bending, lifting, and prolonged standing. Strong attention to detail. Professional communication. Ability to follow established cleaning procedures. Willingness to accept constructive feedback and maintain accountability.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

At least one year of professional cleaning experience. Experience with residential, commercial, or vacation rental cleaning. Previous leadership or employee training experience. Familiarity with quality control inspections.

LEADERSHIP ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITY

We are developing additional cross-trained Team Leads capable of overseeing multiple cleaning specialties.

Future leadership responsibilities may include:

Performing quality control inspections. Training and supporting cleaning technicians. Coordinating team assignments. Identifying and correcting performance concerns. Maintaining company procedures and cleaning standards. Leading residential, vacation rental, commercial, and move-out cleaning teams. Previous leadership experience is valued, but promotion is based on proven performance.

COMPENSATION

Training:

$16.00/hour

Solo-Approved Cleaning Technician:

$17.00/hour

Promoted Team Lead:

$18.00-$20.00/hour

SCHEDULE

Very part-time initially, with variable hours based on client demand. Additional hours and future full-time employment may become available as the company grows. Neither is guaranteed.
