Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless environment. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively across various surfaces and areas. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items for clients. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and efficiently to achieve optimal results. Manage floor care routines including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing to maintain pristine flooring. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service. Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as organizing supplies and maintaining cleaning schedules. Lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during deep cleaning projects or outdoor work tasks. Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment after each use to ensure longevity and safety. Follow all health and safety guidelines related to janitorial, custodial, and outdoor work environments. Skills Proven experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial or custodial roles is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation standards. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and other tools effectively. Familiarity with cleaning detergents and disinfectants along with proper handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
