Job Description

About the
Role:
Finishing Touch Post-Construction Cleaning, LLC is expanding our field team. We specialize in preparing newly built or renovated commercial and residential properties for their final handover. Because we operate on construction timelines, our schedule fluctuates. We are looking for reliable individuals who want flexible project work rather than a rigid 40-hour Monday-through-Friday desk job. This is the perfect position for someone looking to supplement their income, gig workers, or anyone who thrives in a dynamic environment where no two workweeks are exactly the same.
How Our Schedule Works:
When contractors finish a phase, we deploy our team. We are currently hiring specifically to build out our daytime coverage. However, once you are on our active roster, you have full access to sign up for any available job. You can claim the daytime shifts that fit your availability, and you always have the option to pick up additional evening and night shifts when those jobs become available to maximize your income.
What You Will Do:
You will be working directly on active or recently completed job sites, executing our standard three-phase operational process: Phase 1 (Rough Clean / Debris Removal): Removing larger construction debris and heavy dust buildup (typically 5-6 hour blocks). Phase 2 (Final / Deep Clean): Detailed scrubbing, wiping down all surfaces, and extensive floor care (typically 7-8 hour blocks). Phase 3 (Finishing Touch / Touch-Up): A final sweep through the property to catch any settled dust before the client walkthrough (typically 2-4 hour blocks).
Ladder Work:
Safely utilizing step stools and extension ladders to clean high-reach areas, including light fixtures, ceiling vents, structural beams, and tall windows.
Equipment Operation:
Setting up air scrubbers and running professional-grade HEPA-filtration vacuums (like Masterforce units) to safely mitigate construction dust.
What We Are Looking For:
Flexibility:
An understanding that construction schedules shift, and the ability to adapt to changing project dates.
Reliability:
Once you commit to a project block, we count on you to be there.
Mobility:
Reliable transportation to commute to various job sites across West Michigan. Physical Stamina & Comfort with

The ability to be on your feet for extended periods, safely climb and work from ladders, lift equipment, and handle the physical demands of construction cleanup. Attention to
Detail:
A sharp eye for catching hidden dust and delivering a pristine final product. Why Work With Us?
Total Shift Control:
Secure your primary daytime hours, with the absolute freedom to take on lucrative night or weekend shifts whenever you want extra cash.
Professional Tools:
We supply top-tier HEPA equipment to make the job safer and more efficient.
Independent Work Environment:
Fast-paced, hands-on work without the micromanagement of a traditional retail or office job.
