Porter (Opening Shift) Excalibur Park Grosse Pointe, MI Part-Time | Opening Shift | $18.00 per Hour We're looking for an energetic, dependable, and detail-oriented Porter to help prepare Excalibur Park for another great day of hospitality. As our Opening Porter, you'll be responsible for ensuring the restaurant and bar are clean, stocked, organized, and guest-ready before service begins. Your work behind the scenes helps create an exceptional experience for every guest who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Prepare the restaurant and bar for daily service. Clean and sanitize dining areas, bar tops, restrooms, and common spaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility. Restock paper products, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities. Empty trash and recycling and maintain clean disposal areas. Set up and organize the patio and outdoor spaces (seasonally). Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries. Complete opening checklists and report maintenance issues to management. Support bartenders and service staff with stocking and light operational tasks as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment at all times. Qualifications Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in cleanliness. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the shift. Positive attitude and team-first mentality. Previous restaurant, hospitality, janitorial, or porter experience is preferred but not required. Schedule Part-Time Day Shifts Weekend availability preferred.
