SEASONAL AIRPORT GROUNDS WORKER-WINTER

The County of Marquette is looking to hire seasonal Airport Grounds Worker. Under the supervision of the Airport Manager, performs a variety of grounds and maintenance tasks. This includes operating snow removal equipment to keep walkways and parking lots free of snow and ice, general cleaning duties of restrooms and public areas, and light maintenance duties including replacing light bulbs, fixing furniture and parking lot equipment. A high school graduation or equivalent is required and some prior custodial experience is preferred. Prior to actual employment, must pass a 10-year Criminal History Background Record Check (CHRC) as required by the Department of Homeland Security and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). A valid MI Driver's License is required. Ability to meet or exceed all requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration Federal Aviation Regulation mandated personnel regulations at an air carrier airport.
