​ Commercial Cleaning Technician (Part‑Time) HSC Group•Jackson, MI HSC Group is a janitorial business, committed to exceeding client expectations and fostering a positive, respectful work environment. We are hiring two Commercial Cleaning Technician to maintain bathrooms in a facility in Jackson.

Position Details Location:

Jackson, MI Shift Window:

Clean anytime between 6:00 a.m.•9:00 a.m.

Schedule:

7 days a week, every morning, with 2 shifts on Saturday and Sunday with a cleaning being done between 6:00 a.m•9:00 a.m. 3:00 pm•5:00 p.m. Each clean is 1 hour and 15 min max We can split up the 7 day week schedule between 2 cleaning technicians This is a long‑term opportunity for candidates who value reliability, consistency, and professionalism. General Cleaning Responsibilities Clean all toilet bowls, seats, around toilet bases and urinals (inside and outside). Replace urinal screens as necessary. Clean all restroom stalls (partitions and walls) with germicidal disinfectant cleaner and inspect walls and partitions to make sure they are graffiti free. Fill toilet paper holders, changing station liners and hand soap dispensers. Empty all trash and sanitary receptacles and replace all trash can liners. Clean all mirrors and mirror frames. Clean and sanitize all countertops and sinks Scrub caulking and polish all chrome and metal surfaces with the appropriate cleaning chemicals Spray and wipe down all hard surfaces, including changing stations. Thoroughly sweep and then scrub and mop hard surface floors, taking care to get into comers, along edges, behind toilets and grout lines using appropriate cleaning chemical to do so Clean restroom walls and ceiling and inspect to make sure areas are graffiti free. Clean fiberglass board under hand dryers Check air fresheners and replace cartridges or batteries as needed Clean ceiling vents taking care to make sure they are dust and dirt free. Clean and sanitize all drinking fountains and make sure they are free of calcium or iron build-up by using the appropriate cleaning chemicals Requirements Must pass a background check Reliable transportation Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills Must live within 15 minutes of Jackson Ability to walk up and down stairs Ability to lift at least 30 pounds Must be able to communicate via text, email, and phone in a timely manor Must be respectful — we do not tolerate disrespect.
