A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

•EXPERIENCED

CLEANERS ONLY

•MUST be open to background check•Can also work with someone in the Ann Arbor area Looking for someone with at least 1-2 years experience in residential Housekeeping. This is a commission based position. Full-time solo cleaners will earn a 65% commission on the entirety of each quote/cleaning. Need a worker with flexibility and ambition for serving others. g. HHC will supply the first round of supplies (vaccum, caddy, cleaning refills, rags, dusters etc.) Contractor (You) will be responsible for keeping supplies restocked. (Once your vacuum breaks, you will be responsible for replacing it)

Duties Punctuality:

Arrive to each job on time, or within expected window. (Please only apply if you have a reliable vehicle) Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and mopping floors to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct detailed sanitation procedures in kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure health and safety compliance. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and courteously. Manage janitorial responsibilities including restocking supplies, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring equipment is well-maintained. Experience Proven janitorial or custodial experience in residential and/or commercial environments. Experience with hotel housekeeping operations or residential cleaning services is highly desirable. Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. (Many clients are elderly and will be present for cleanings)

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
