A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM What's the Job? Clean and maintain offices, hallways, restrooms, meeting spaces, and other facility areas Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners as needed Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and operate floor care equipment including buffers and steam cleaners Dust and polish furniture, cabinets, windowsills, mirrors, and fixtures Assist with room setups for meetings and special events What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum of one year of custodial, janitorial, or related cleaning experience Valid Michigan driver's license required Knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and custodial equipment Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively What's in it for me?
