Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards. Carry out minor repairs and general facilities maintenance including painting, light carpentry, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Operate cleaning machinery and tools with precision while adhering to safe lifting practices during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks. Qualifications Proven janitorial experience or custodial background with knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures. Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers. Ability to handle chemical agents safely by understanding chemical handling safety procedures. Experience in facilities maintenance including minor repairs or painting is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward teamwork and communication. Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocol adherence in a commercial or residential setting is highly desirable.
