Janitorial Worker

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and surfaces throughout the facility. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing as needed. Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with special cleaning projects as required. Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment. Knowledge of floor care practices including buffing and maintenance. Experience in residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
