Job Description
We're seeking a dependable, self-motivated Facilities & Custodial Technician to help maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing facility in Shelby Township, MI. This is more than a cleaning position. You'll play an important role in supporting our employees by maintaining our offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas while also assisting with workplace safety initiatives. Responsibilities Clean offices, restrooms, conference rooms, break rooms, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash throughout the facility Restock restroom, and janitorial supplies Inspect and refill first aid kits throughout the building Assist with maintaining emergency and safety equipment Support the company Safety Committee with inspections and housekeeping initiatives Perform light maintenance tasks as needed Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional manufacturing environment Follow all company safety procedures and policies Qualifications Reliable with excellent attendance Positive attitude and strong work ethic Able to work independently and manage daily tasks Able to lift up to 50 pounds Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus What We Offer Full-time position Monday-Friday schedule Stable, year-round employment Competitive pay Paid holidays Paid time off Opportunities for growth and advancement Join a company that values teamwork, safety, and taking pride in a job well done.
