Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, lobbies, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards Assist with floor care activities including buffing, polishing, and basic maintenance to ensure floors remain in top condition Support custodial operations by stocking supplies, replenishing restroom amenities, and reporting inventory needs Maintain safety protocols during cleaning procedures and ensure all equipment is used correctly and stored properly Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to facilities management Support industrial cleaning projects or specialized custodial tasks as needed for large-scale or deep-clean initiatives Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings preferred Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and polishing Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures necessary for effective cleaning practices Previous porter or custodial experience demonstrating reliability and attention to detail is highly valued This role offers an energetic environment where your efforts directly contribute to a clean and welcoming space.
