Noon Supervisor

Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated individual to add to our team at Indian Lake Elementary as a Noon Supervisor. This position works student days only, 10:45-1:15pm, approximately 12.5 hours/week. This position is eligible to accrue sick leave through the Michigan Earned Sick Time Act. Responsibilities

• Supervise students to, from and on the playground, in lunch areas, in the classroom and on campus as directed by the principal or their designee.
• Enforce playground, lunch area, and campus behavior standards.
• Organize and supervise playground activities.
• Acknowledge and reinforce desirable student behaviors.
• Report serious problems that arise due to behaviors or injuries to the main office.
• General duties as assigned by the principal or their designee.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be of good health; and be able to lift, bend, and stretch as job requires.
• Must have a good attendance record.
• Must possess good decision-making skills.
• Must be flexible in work assignments.
• Must demonstrate sociability and warmth in attitude towards others.
• Must pass background checks and comply with state and district requirements for working with students. Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move about the building and campus to assist students.
• May require an employee to lift and/or move heavy objects.
• Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions.
