Overview 3rd Shift - 12:00am - 6:30am We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that facilities are safe and welcoming for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in commercial and residential settings. Maintain floors through buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure they remain in excellent condition. Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards. Handle waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently. Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to support overall facility upkeep. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates willing to learn. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is advantageous. Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices will be beneficial for this role. Porter experience is helpful for maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic areas.
