Supervisory Responsibilities:

None Purpose:

Responsible for cleaning of specific areas of the plant and performing other maintenance-related activities.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities :

Ensure a clean & safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program Cleaning of restrooms, office areas, lunchroom, and other common areas Emptying of garbage containers and recycle bins as needed Maintain inventory of cleaning, toiletry, and lunch room supplies Empty, clean, refill mop buckets where applicable Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Minimum Requirements:

Education & Experience :

High School diploma or equivalent preferred Previous janitoral/custodian work preferred

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Valid and current MN driver's license where applicable Ability to communicate with a variety of people, including outside vendors Ability to prioritize and schedule cleaning activities throughout the day, week, month, etc. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures Must be able to operate, walk-behind and riding, floor scrubbers and barnishers Must be able to operate scissor lifts and forklifts Must be able to perform duties without direct supervision Regular attendance

Training:

Reference OJT Physical Demands Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs., rarely lifting up to 70 lbs.
