Our Residential Custodial Technicians are an integral part of the resident experience, equally as important as every person on our team. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General cleaning of the community to include vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, window washing and waste removal. Conduct routine community inspections, interior and exterior, as well as vacant units. Track upcoming apartment turnover with internal staff. Restock chemical, liquid and paper supplies in all common areas, restrooms, and amenities. Follow manufacturer recommendations on floor, furniture, and fixture maintenance. Respond to resident requests related to cleaning and general maintenance. Observe and report facility damage, security concerns and other campus issues, as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this role successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
At least one (1) year of experience in the cleaning/custodial field. Preferred site lead or supervisory experience. Preferred experience in customer service and interaction.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and OSHA regulations. Basic understanding of typical cleaning methods and best practices. Comfortability and experience in working with basic tools and equipment needed to complete duties.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 30 lbs. Will be on your feet and mobile frequently, both inside and outside of buildings.
