Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Handle janitorial tasks like trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to promote health and safety standards. Assist with light maintenance duties including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and inspecting facilities for safety hazards. Support industrial or specialized cleaning projects as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness logs and report any facility issues or damages promptly to management. Follow all safety procedures during cleaning operations to ensure a secure working environment. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and sealing is highly desirable. Familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including basic repairs and painting is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
