Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and other custodial tools to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition. Conduct sanitation of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas ensuring compliance with health standards. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, or painting as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities, including heavy lifting and manual handling practices to prevent injuries. Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies inventory, and safety inspections for accountability and continuous improvement. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques involving chemical agents and the safe handling of cleaning supplies is essential. Experience operating floor buffers, carpet cleaners, or other specialized cleaning equipment is highly desirable. Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols related to facilities maintenance is required. Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with staff and visitors when necessary.
