Full Job Description Industrial Custodial Technician Pay:
$20-$23/hour (DOE)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Industrial Custodial Technician to join our team. This is more than a traditional custodial role—we are looking for someone with strong facility maintenance and handyman skills who can help maintain a safe, clean, and functional manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial cleaning, chemical management, and general building maintenance, along with the ability to perform physical tasks throughout the facility. Responsibilities Perform industrial cleaning and custodial duties throughout the facility. Manage and properly handle cleaning chemicals and supplies. Change light bulbs and assist with basic facility maintenance tasks. Inspect and test emergency lighting systems. Conduct routine inspections of fire extinguishers and safety equipment. Operate a trash compactor and ensure proper waste disposal procedures. Operate a man lift safely and effectively. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas. Assist with facility upkeep and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Previous industrial custodial, facilities maintenance, or building maintenance experience preferred. Experience with chemical management and safe chemical handling practices. Strong handyman or maintenance aptitude. Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Experience operating equipment such as man lifts and compactors is preferred.
