A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary Cleans floors, dumps trash carts, move barrels of waste from production area, be able to clean a line with chemicals in the event of contamination or changeovers. Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities When product falls on floor, uses a squeegee to scrape up scrap Responsible for shoveling scrap into barrels Need to remove barrels from the area when half to ¾ full, by loading barrels onto a skid Tracking and recording of accurate waste weights Use a palletjack to move skid with barrels to slop area for sanitation to empty Take out trash carts full of empty boxes, plastic or other items and put into appropriate disposable containers If not already trained, you will need to be willing to be trained on how to use and mix the different chemicals to clean a line for contamination or changeovers Perform all other duties as assigned Temperatures throughout plant average 50 degrees. Temperatures in the cooking area can exceed 80 degrees. Required to wear hairnet, smock, boots or overshoes, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the Company. Need to comply with
Food Safety:
GMP's SSOP, SOP, HACCP, SQF and Quality requirements Position Qualifications Prefer High School Diploma or GED Be able to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable, Self-Driven, Minimum Supervision Palletjack Certification
Employee Safety Responsibilities:
Report all injuries, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts & horseplay Use proper lifting techniques Use handrails Follow GMP regulations Use and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including bumpcaps
