A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.
Part-Time Night Porter Hatfield Cleaning Company is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Janitorial Technicians to provide professional cleaning services at one commercial facility in Eldon, Missouri. This roles require individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and professional work environments while working independently. Monday-Friday Any time after 6:00 PM and before 6:00 AM Duties Vacuum carpets and entry mats. Sweep, mop, and disinfect hard-surface flooring. Thoroughly remove dust, debris, and hair from corners and edges. Move rolling chairs, desks, and other movable furniture to clean underneath. Clean and disinfect offices, laboratories, common areas, and restrooms. Dust furniture, countertops, windowsills, cabinets, and other surfaces. Clean interior glass and entry doors as needed. Empty trash and replace liners. Restock restroom supplies. Maintain janitorial storage areas in a neat and organized condition. Follow all laboratory cleaning procedures and company safety policies. Requirements Janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical cleaning tasks including bending, standing, walking, reaching, and climbing stairs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to move lightweight office furniture, rolling chairs, and equipment while cleaning. Professional appearance and communication skills. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
