What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
The Farmington Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for an Evening/Weekend Custodial Crew Leader at the Civic Center. Typical duties include general facility maintenance and cleaning, site preparation for events and programs and supervision of subordinate employees. Evening and weekend shifts are required for this position. The pay range for this position is $41,600 to $50,606. The City offers an excellent benefit package that includes full paid health, dental, vision and life insurance, Missouri LAGERS retirement, paid vacation after six months, sick leave, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and more with a total added value of $6.85 per hour.
