A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
The East Buchanan C-1 School District is looking for a full-time custodian for the day shift of 8:30am-5:00pm. Assignments can change over time, but the initial planned assignment is the high school. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. Benefits include district-paid health insurance and dental, vacation and sick time.
