Duties Perform detailed cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment to remove stains and dirt buildup. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, offices, and other designated areas by disinfecting surfaces and replenishing supplies. Use specialized cleaning tools and products for environmental services that promote a healthy workspace. Execute routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, window washing, dusting, and surface sanitization. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for yourself and others. Document completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to supervisors. Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or institutional environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and general sanitation practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, extractors, vacuums, and environmentally friendly cleaning tools effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results consistently. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use is advantageous.
