A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Porter to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of a multifamily community. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of common areas including breezeways, hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, and mail areas Sweep walkways, entries, and building perimeters Perform daily trash pickup around the property and around dumpster areas Clean and maintain dumpster enclosures and remove loose debris Report bulk-trash items or dumping issues to management Clean and tidy shared spaces such as the leasing office lobby and laundry rooms Replace common-area light bulbs and report maintenance issues Assist maintenance team with light tasks as directed Keep maintenance closets and work areas organized Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with residents and team members Requirements Previous porter, janitorial, or grounds experience preferred Ability to work outdoors and walk the property daily Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, lifting, climbing stairs) Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
