Inventory Porter

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Inventory Porter, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our operations running smoothly! In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the movement and organization of vehicles and inventory within our dealership or retail environment. Your proactive approach will ensure that vehicles are properly stored, prepared, and ready for customer delivery or display. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in guest services, hospitality, and vehicle handling while contributing to a seamless customer experience. Duties Safely transport vehicles between parking areas, service lanes, and display lots using careful driving skills. Assist with the organization and placement of inventory, ensuring all vehicles are parked in designated display and parking zones according to dealership standards. Support guest services by greeting visitors, providing directions, and ensuring a positive first impression. Maintain clear communication with team members regarding vehicle status, delivery schedules, and inventory updates. Conduct routine inspections of vehicles for damage or cleanliness before they are displayed or delivered to customers. Support delivery drivers by assisting with loading, unloading, and documenting vehicle transfers as needed. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred but NOT required Prior dealership experience or familiarity with automotive inventory management is a plus but NOT required Ability to operate a variety of vehicles safely within parking areas Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail; able to follow safety procedures diligently.
