Overview Join our team as a Janitor/Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone. You will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks that ensure our spaces are tidy, sanitary, and inviting for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass doors, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine Empty trash receptacles regularly and dispose of waste in designated areas following proper procedures Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability Follow safety protocols during cleaning activities to prevent slips, trips, and falls Use commercial cleaning equipment like vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners effectively and safely Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to office buildings, retail spaces, or industrial facilities is a plus Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established procedures Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout shifts Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly impact the comfort and safety of others.
