Part-Time Night Janitorial Cleaner Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of a commercial facility in Maplewood, MO during evening hours. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety protocols, and ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Schedule:

Part-time (typically 15-30 hours per week) Monday through Friday (no weekends) Evening/Night shifts (example: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM or later)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and high-touch surfaces Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces Maintain floors by polishing, buffing, or using floor equipment as needed Follow cleaning schedules and checklists Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications:

Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines Reliable and punctual

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25-50 pounds Ability to perform repetitive tasks and use cleaning equipment Comfortable working in a variety of environments

Work Environment:

Indoor commercial or office setting Exposure to cleaning chemicals (training and PPE provided) Quiet, after-hours work environment
