Schedule:
12 months, Friday-Sunday 2:00pm-2:00am Beginning hourly rate: $16.83 + $2.00/hour premium + lead pay Full Benefits included: Medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, retirement Non-exempt
Summary:
Supervises 12-Hour weekend custodians. Ensures clean areas at Lindbergh High School and other district buildings during the weekend. Organizes and prioritizes cleaning schedules for 12-Hour weekend custodians. Supports all weekend events including, set up and tear down of events, monitoring of facilities, opens and closes areas for facility use.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned. Instructs custodians verbally or in writing in regard to building and grounds, custodial routines, and preventive maintenance activities. Maintains inventory of custodial/maintenance supplies and equipment. Cleans and preserves designated spaces, equipment etc on campus. Assists visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within the building and campus. Handles tasks that occur during their shift like set up and take down tables/chairs, risers, platforms, etc for events. Ensures facilities are unlocked and locked during all weekend activities Maintains building and grounds security by locking the building before and after each shift. Maintain work related records and prepare various reports as directed. Speciality weekend cleaning as assigned by the supervisor. Covers cleaning duties for absences of weekend staff. May be required to address events at other district buildings during the weekend. Other duties as assigned Overtime as needed

The employee will frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk more than the average person while performing the duties of this job. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds such as cleaning supplies, pails and unloading trucks. Occasionally the employee will lift and/or move up to 90 lbs such as salt and bulk furniture. The employee will sometimes push/pull items such as tables, bleachers, scrubbing machines. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
