Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including bed making, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively across different areas such as bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and outdoor spaces. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and pressure washers with proper manual handling techniques. Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning detergents and supplies while adhering to safety guidelines. Communicate professionally with clients or residents regarding cleaning schedules or special requests to ensure satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supplies used for accountability and quality control. Support housekeeping management by assisting with inventory checks and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings is preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning tasks. Experience with carpet cleaning, floor care (including polishing and stripping), and surface sanitation is highly desirable. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, equipment operation, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals is essential. Outdoor work experience is a plus, especially involving yard maintenance or exterior cleaning projects. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple properties or client requests. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents regarding their needs and expectations.
