Qualifications:

High School Diploma (or equivalent) General working knowledge of custodial tasks Reports to: Building Principal

Goal:

To provide students and staff with a safe, attractive, comfortable and clean learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Unlock and lock all doors as directed. Put up and take down bus signs as directed Set up rooms as requested for meetings, including moving furniture and equipment. Greet all students, staff and patrons in a polite manner. Clean and wet mop cafeteria after breakfast and scrub after lunch. Dispose of all trash after meals. Remove snow and ice from entryways. Dust mop all halls and check restrooms routinely. Safely handle and mark all cleaning chemicals. Replace light bulbs as needed. Keep grounds free of rubbish. Load and unload trucks as needed. Keep storage areas neat and organized. Promote positive relations between the building, District, Board and community. Execute all policies, rules and regulations odopted by the Board. Make decisions for the best interests of the District and within Board policies and CSIP objectives. Other duties as assigned by the Principal. A criminal fingerprint/background clearance is required.
