Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Substitute Custodian helps to keep district buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program. The Substitute Custodian performs assigned custodial duties and repairs as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School graduate or equivalent. Experience and training as necessary to complete job
