The University of Central Missouri is an equal employment opportunity employer Union Custodial/Setups Description Sweep, dust mop, spot mop, spray buff, shower scrub, burnish, and refinish all hard surface floors throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor. Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo, extract carpets throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor. Move furniture, equipment, materials, and perform other general maintenance. Service, clean, and disinfect restrooms, classrooms, offices, and clean drinking fountains. Maintain custodial closets, work areas, and equipment in a clean and safe manner. Remove trash and debris from building to dumpster. Set-up/strike conference rooms, meeting rooms, dining areas, and other areas, as assigned. Clean doors, partition glass, interior windows, blinds, light fixtures, and vents. Dust furniture, spot clean walls, ceilings, and doors/frames, as needed. Snow removal, as required. Report to FPO anything that needs repaired or replaced. Perform additional duties, as assigned by administrative or supervising personnel. Assist floor crew personnel, as assigned. Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo, extract carpets throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor. Move furniture, equipment, materials, and perform other general maintenance. Perform Set-up duties:
-45% Set-up/strike conference rooms, meeting rooms, dining areas, and other areas, as assigned. Detail all areas of the setup in prep for the event Clean doors, partition glass, interior windows, blinds, light fixtures, and vents. Dust furniture, spot clean walls, ceilings, and doors/frames, as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned:
-10% Snow removal, as required. Report to FPO anything that needs repairing or replacing. Perform additional duties, as assigned by administrative or supervising personnel. Assist floor crew personnel, as assigned
Typical Qualifications Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Previous custodial experience preferred. Previous set-up experience preferred
Working Hours and Days:
Tue - Sat 4:30pm to 1:00am
Supplemental Information Physical Requirements:
Excessive standing and/or walking, Exposure to extreme temperatures, Exposure to fumes and/or chemicals, Exposure to heights, Exposure to loud noises, Lifting (weight) - 50 lbs.
