Months, Non-Exempt Position Description:
(primary functions) The custodian role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout assigned facilities. Duties include performing routine cleaning tasks at scheduled intervals during the day to ensure all areas remain presentable.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Candidate must also have prior experience in custodial services or facility maintenance services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
General cleaning in office spaces, classrooms, and restrooms Collecting and emptying trash Dusting all surfaces Stripping and waxing floors Stocking and maintaining cleaning supplies, as needed Washing windows Using equipment, commercial vaccums, floor buffers Other duties assigned by Supervisor or Director of Physical Plant .
