Service Porter As a Service Porter, you'll play an important role in keeping our service department operating efficiently while learning the day-to-day operations of dealership service and customer care. This role is designed for someone looking to grow into a future Service Advisor position. What You'll Do Responsibilities include: Move and organize customer vehicles for service appointments Assist with vehicle intake and service lane operations Maintain organization of the service drive, parking areas, and service department Wash, clean, and prepare customer vehicles for delivery Check and refill vehicle fluids when needed Assist with basic vehicle support tasks and service department needs Create and manage key tags and vehicle tracking systems Deliver and pick up customer vehicles as needed Support technicians and service advisors with daily operations Learn dealership service workflow and customer communication processes Shadow Service Advisors and learn customer service best practices Help deliver an exceptional customer experience from arrival to vehicle pickup What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Motivated and eager to build a long-term career Interested in growing into a Service Advisor position Professional with a positive attitude Comfortable interacting with customers and team members Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Willing to learn and take direction Customer-service focused High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record Able to work flexible schedules, including some weekends Build More Than a Job — Build a Career At Walt Massey, many successful leaders started in entry-level positions just like this one.
