Custodians :

Vocational-level Custodian accountable for cleaning office areas or resident areas. Works under general direction and follows set instructions and directions. Works as part of a cleaning crew. Operates a variety of power cleaning equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors. Waxing furniture and cleaning fixtures. Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles. Performing minor repairs. Keeping buildings free from indoor pests. Maintaining cleaning equipment. Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment. Ensuring equipment and lights are switched off, and premises are locked after hours. Collaborating with contract cleaning services. Tidy and prepare spaces

Requirements and Experience:

High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Proficient with handling basic maintenance repairs. Resilient to cleaning agents and chemicals. Outstanding organizational skills. 0-2 years experience Excellent time management Good focus and attention to detail Knowledge of cleaning agents and how to use and dispose of them safely
