Cleaning Technician

Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to remove stains and dirt effectively. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, lobbies, and other common areas by sanitizing surfaces and replenishing supplies. Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuums, floor buffers, extractors, and other cleaning tools. Follow established protocols for waste disposal, recycling procedures, and environmentally friendly cleaning practices. Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to uphold high standards of hygiene. Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services within commercial or institutional environments. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and sanitation procedures. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
