Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Evening Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during evening hours. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive cleaning and custodial tasks across several different facilities, ensuring that all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and ready for the next day. Your proactive approach to facilities maintenance will help uphold our high standards of cleanliness and safety, creating a positive experience for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies. Conduct detailed janitorial duties including trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, dust mopping and mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and other surfaces to ensure a tidy environment. Follow written and oral instructions, safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately during all custodial activities. Qualifications - Preferred Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects ( up to 30lbs), standing for extended periods, bending, stooping. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently .
