Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, common areas, and other designated spaces to meet health standards. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or repair, supporting overall custodial and maintenance efforts. Operate cleaning machinery and tools efficiently while adhering to safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks. Restock supplies such as paper products, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials to ensure continuous facility operation. Follow safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or chemical hazards. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care such as buffing and polishing using floor buffers or other equipment. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures to ensure safe use of cleaning agents and disinfectants. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices.
