Fluent English communication skills are required for this position. The Day Porter will be responsible for receiving, understanding, documenting, and tracking work orders and service requests, as well as communicating updates and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning and porter services throughout assigned areas. Maintain lobbies, common areas, restrooms, break rooms, entrances, and other designated areas. Respond promptly to spills, trash, cleaning requests, and other facility needs. Monitor the building and report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns to management. Receive and track work orders and service requests. Provide timely updates regarding work order status, completion, and any issues requiring additional attention. Communicate professionally with clients, employees, vendors, and management. Follow daily schedules, checklists, and assigned work orders. Assist with moving supplies, furniture, trash, recycling, and other materials as needed. Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory needs to be replenished. Follow all company safety procedures and facility-specific requirements. Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Fluent in English, both verbal and written, required. Basic computer and smartphone skills required. Previous janitorial, porter, custodial, or facilities experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple requests. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift as required to perform the job. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Technology Requirements Must be able to use a computer or mobile device. Must be able to read and understand work order requests in English. Must be able to provide clear written updates and communicate work order status professionally.
